The soap in Sri Lanka is to air in a few weeks, and while I worked on a new soap in Nepal I also continued my association with a talkshow there

RPB has been helping to develop radio soap operas in both Sri Lanka and Nepal in the past few months. The Sri Lankan soap should start airing in August in both Sinhala and Tamil, while the Nepal soap, to be produced in Maithili in the Eastern Terai, probably won't start airing until November 2009.

I also continued my association with Search for Common Ground Nepal's syndicated talkshow 'Farakilo Dharti', and it's great to see that the people I initially trained two years ago have been doing such a good job.

Meanwhile, I received an email from someone in DRC who attended a workshop four years ago. This is what he wrote:
'Je vous ecris juste pour vous dire un petit bonjour. La formation que vous nous avez dispensé a Bujumbura a changer ma carriere; c'est vrai que je ne suis plus dans le talk show, mais les principes de cette formation continue a me guider. Je suis aujourd hui journaliste d'investigation toujours pour le compte de Radio Okapi.'
